Synopsis

Set in the colorful and raw streets of Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the story follows 17-year-old Ali, a spirited teen’s quest for identity amid her cautious single mother’s protective eye. Follow Ali as she rebels and uncovers her musical gift through piano lessons with her wise mentor, Miss Liza Jane, and ignites a romance with street drummer Knuck. Struggles rise with family drama involving her distant father, Davis. Through triumphs and struggles, Ali learns to embrace her expression, her origins, and the neighborhood that shapes her. This universal and relatable coming-of-age journey is filled with spirit, connection, and music.
