Almost 10 years ago, on February 17, 2015, history was created as Hamilton debuted Off-Broadway at the Public Theater in New York City. It was this grand opening that was so well-received, which led to a Broadway opening in August. Since then, Hamilton has been showing not only in America, but in several destinations around the world.

Hamilton continues its success as it goes on a limited season in Cincinnati in December at Procter & Gamble Hall at Aronoff Center, historically well known for showcasing the worlds most epic productions and musicals.

The popularity of this Broadway musical from its inception started to grow bigger and larger especially after the 2016 Tony Awards, where Hamilton was able to win 11 out of 16 nominations and consolidated its place in Broadway and beyond. It has also demonstrated to be enjoyable to a wider crowd partly of the fact that this musical specifically chooses to features genres currently trendding in popular culture, such as hip hop, jazz, and R&B while being made from a very diverse cast for each tour. Its unique score and musical recording have been made even more accessible due to its publication outside the musical itself on TV platforms.

Its reach has only continued to develop from there as Hamilton has gone on to show in various cities across the United States, and show in several locations across the world including Canada, the hugely-renowned West End in London, New Zealand, Paris, the Philippines and Abu Dhabi. Its worldwide fame continues it also became a film version in 2020 that became available to stream on Disney+.

With each location that Hamilton visits, though the actors and live crew may differ, it upholds diversity that features various racial and ethnic origins for each actors, one of the accolades that Hamilton is known for.
